    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    The Dean of Financial Aid Services, as Chief Financial Aid Officer is responsible for the managing the College's federal, state and institutional financial aid programs. This position provides leadership, planning and direction to the staff as well as direct service for the administration of the student financial aid program.  The Dean serves as primary trainer and resource to the staff and is a direct report to the Vice President of Student Services.
     
     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    This position requires a Master's Degree or a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of direct experience in a financial aid office.  This position requires five (5) years of supervisory/administrative experience in a Financial Aid Office at a school participating in all federal aid programs.  Experience with Elluican Software or a similar product is required.  Experience with NSLDS, National Clearinghouse, COD, Period Based Budgeting, and internal and external scholarship supervision is required.  The ability to work with a rural to urban student population of over 7,000 is required. A criminal background check is also required.
