MASFAA committees and their volunteers are integral to the work of our association and the success of our mission. In addition to traditional MASFAA committees, we are excited to announce some new taskforce initiatives charged with developing best practice information and training for the membership regarding one of several topics of interest in the financial aid profession:
  • Improving Student Communications via New Technology and Social Media

  • Best Practices in Enrollment Management and Financial Aid Leveraging

  • Delivering Effective Financial Education: What Works?

  • Assisting At-Risk Youth to Achieve College Success

  • Leadership in Financial Aid: Serving Our Institutions and Our Profession

  • Effective Scholarship Administration Policies, Procedures, and Tools

The majority of volunteer work is expected to be done via phone, videoconferencing, and email. Time commitment will vary depending on the assignment. Work will begin as early as November 2018 through our October 2019 MASFAA Annual Conference in Chicago.

Please complete the volunteer form and let us know how you would like to get involved! Priority consideration will be given to forms submitted by October 12. The form can be completed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TLFC5CR or below. Please scroll to the bottom of the form to answer all questions.
