We will focus on increasing our awareness of how identity-based experiences and the emotions attached to those experiences may impact critical conversations. Using a justice, equity, diversity and inclusion lens in partnership with a trauma informed care lens, we will learn strategies to start these conversations, move through them, and restore relationships.

• Define critical JEDI conversations. 
• Identify the impact emotions and trauma response may have on critical conversations. 
• Learn strategies to implement and JEDI and trauma informed lens into critical conversations. 
• Identify parts of an apology and how they contribute to restoring relationships. 
• Learn strategies to be an active bystander in critical conversations.
