The Student Success Story of the Year is intended to focus on a specific individual while symbolizing the real purpose of financial aid, which is to provide the means to pursue and realize a postsecondary education. One award per year will be given and the student recipient must be from the state where the MASFAA annual conference is being hosted. It is intended the award be presented on a rotational basis as the conference is rotated. Prior Student Success Story of the Year Award recipients are listed below.
