Convention Center & Hotel

This year’s conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex (350 First Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401).

Hotel Update as of August 27, 2026

The MASFAA room block at the DoubleTree is currently sold out for Sunday and Tuesday nights. If your stay includes either of these nights, please use the additional conference hotel block listed below.

Rooms at the DoubleTree are available for $165 + tax per night through September 25, 2026, or until the remaining room block sells out.

Additional Hotel Block: Fairfield Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids

MASFAA has secured an additional room block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids for attendees who need another lodging option.

Reservations may be made through the booking link or by calling the hotel directly at 319-247-1000, and requesting the Midwest Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA) group rate.

Rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites are available for $169 + tax per night through September 17, 2026, or until the room block sells out.

Please Note:
A MASFAA conference registration is not required before booking your hotel room. However, we strongly encourage you to verify both your hotel reservation confirmation and your MASFAA registration confirmation to ensure you're all set for the event.

Driving & Parking

Overnight guests can provide their license plate to the hotel upon check-in for $5 overnight parking. If you are driving each day, parking will be $0.75 an hour. Suggested ramp locations are "Convention Center Ramp" and "Five Seasons Ramp". On-Street parking is enforced Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. $1.25/hour with time limits posted; it is free on nights and weekends!

Flying

The Eastern Iowa Airport is about a 12-minute drive from the Convention Center & Hotel. Hotel guests can utilize the complimentary airport shuttle by calling the hotel directly at 319-731-4444 ext. 0 and providing their flight information in advance. The hotel team will then coordinate pickup based on arrival details.
