Please register if you would like to join our book club to explore and discuss our 5th book,

Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, and How to Be an Ally by Emily Ladau.

Our live, online, discussion for this book will be held Thursday, June 15, at 10am (Central).

Mission Statement: As leaders of the financial aid community, it is our goal and duty to help students obtain access to a college education and achieve their educational goals. By expanding our understanding of diverse groups, book club members will strive to think critically and inclusively to inform decision-making, the populations we serve, and our communities at-large.

MASFAA’s Equality Talk is designed to

  • Expand participants’ awareness and appreciation of diversity
  • Promote open and extended discussion of inclusion and equity issues
  • Provide a safe setting to be vulnerable as we expand our knowledge of critical issues
  • Connect and enhance the feeling of community within the organization

Join MASFAA's book club and converse on these important topics with your Midwest colleagues. Check out the Equality Talk Book Club page here.
