Welcome from MASFAA President, Emily Johnson

It is both an honor and a joy to serve as your MASFAA President for the 2025–26 year. This association has shaped my professional journey in countless ways, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back to a community that continues to inspire, challenge, and support one another across our nine states.

MASFAA remains a place where connection fuels growth and collaboration drives innovation. Our programs — from Mini-MASFAA and Summer Institute to Leadership Symposium and the important work of our committees — create meaningful spaces for learning, leadership development, and shared purpose. None of this is possible without the dedication of our volunteers, committee members, and board leaders whose passion ensures MASFAA remains strong and forward-focused.

I look forward to a year of gathering together — to exchange ideas, build relationships, and continue elevating our profession in service of students. I am excited to connect with many of you throughout the year, especially at our Annual Conference, as we celebrate both our impact and the community that makes it possible.
