Base fee:
  • Leadership Symposium is designed for professionals with five or more years of financial aid experience, or those who have demonstrated leadership potential.

    Base Rate. Additional housing charges will be added based on your selections.
  • Summer Institute is generally for those professionals with five or fewer years of financial aid experience.

Sunday Arrivals - Price $140

The fees include registration, lodging, linens* and all meals except for a Wednesday night dinner on your own. Please note, if you are not a MASFAA member, there will be an additional $50.00 registration fee.

As Indiana’s premier urban research institution, the campus is woven into a vibrant arts, cultural, and business landscape while remaining exceptionally accessible. Located just approximately 20 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport, the university is an ideal launching point for bold ideas and bright futures and ease of travels. 

Attendees will reside in University Tower, a convenient on‑campus housing option that supports both comfort and connection. Participants may select a single room, featuring a private bedroom and bathroom, or a double room, which includes shared sleeping and bathroom spaces with another attendee. Nestled centrally on campus, University Tower offers easy access to dining, campus amenities, and the surrounding downtown environment, creating an atmosphere designed to spark collaboration, reflection, and the bold moves that lead to bright futures. *Linen packages include the following items: 1 blanket, 2 flat sheets, 2 pillows, 2 pillowcases, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, 1 bathmat. It is recommended that attendees bring supplemental linens for added warmth and comfort. Please note that daily cleaning services and toiletries will not be provided as they would in hotel accommodations.

Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation: You may request to cancel your registration for a full refund, until May 22, 2026. Requests must be submitted to the Treasurer (treasurer@masfaaweb.net) in writing to be considered.

Changes: Registration may be transferred to another individual up to 10 days before Summer Institute and Leadership Symposium begins. Requests must be submitted to the Treasurer-Elect (treasurer-elect@masfaaweb.net) in writing to be considered.

Participant Conduct

All participants in Summer Institute and Leadership Symposium must agree to abide by the MASFAA Appropriate Behavior and Conduct Clause.
